Whole dried unopened flower buds with heads, ground powder
Cloves are the immature, unopened flower buds of an aromatic myrtle tree, harvested as they turn crimson and sun-dried until dark reddish-brown. Each whole bud features a long calyx tube crowned by four spreading sepals and a tight round bud center loaded with natural essential oils. Exported as whole hand-picked buds and fine powder.
