Small brown and black whole seeds, cracked, powder
Rai mustard seeds are small, spherical, and range from deep reddish-brown to near black in colour. While mild in their raw whole state, popping them in warm oil releases an assertive, savoury aroma with a characteristic spicy punch. Available as cleaned whole seeds, split dal, or milled flour.
